We LOVED Global Ethics Day 2026

It goes without saying, we love ethics around here. So, of course we loved celebrating Global Ethics Day this year and every year prior. The day encourages people, places and businesses to consider the role of ethics in their personal, daily lives and in the lives of those around the world.
Ethics is the discipline concerned with what is morally good and bad and morally right and wrong. The term is also applied to any system or theory of moral values or principles. For NASBA’s Center for the Public Trust’s part, we exist to provide a platform for corporate America and the accounting profession to explore, promote and advance ethical practices in organizations. To achieve this goal, the CPT hosts seminars and conferences on ethics-related topics such as public trust, leadership, integrity and ethical decision-making. We continually strive to advance ethics in business, education and society.
How do you live a more ethical life? There are many ways to choose the ethical path and you can start small. Here are a few ways you can practice ethics in your daily life:
- Communicate with honesty
- Practice compassion
- Keep your promises
- Refrain from pressuring those around you
- Fairness is key
- Being accountable
- Think before you act
- Learn from your mistakes
The CPT is here to help you succeed in a more ethical lifestyle. Have any questions or want to learn more? Email us at [email protected].
