NASHVILLE, TENN. (Aug. 11, 2026) – The NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) has partnered with Red Flag Mania (RFM) to modernize its Ethical Leadership Certification Program (ELCP), an online ethical leadership training course provided to approximately 5,000 college students across the country annually.

The ELCP equips college students to identify ethical issues, navigate ethical dilemmas and strengthen their ethical decision-making abilities. The program also helps participants build their resumes and demonstrate their commitment to ethical leadership to prospective employers. The certification program is comprised of six modules and a final exam, featuring the interactive Ethics Boss case study, in which students participate in a real investigation and make the calls themselves.

As part of the modernization, Drs. O.C. and Linda Ferrell, the renowned business ethics scholars behind the program’s original curriculum, revised and updated the ELCP’s core content. RFM brought its experiential learning approach to the project, redesigning the visual experience and transforming the business decision-making module to focus on applying ethical theory in realistic workplace scenarios. Upon successful completion, participants will now receive a Credly digital badge to post to their LinkedIn profiles, in addition to a certificate of completion.

“Students don’t build ethical judgment by reading about dilemmas. They build it by working through them,” said Roni Jackson, co-founder and co-CEO of Red Flag Mania. “We modernized the ELCP so students practice the decisions they’ll actually face in their careers, then walk away with a credential that proves it.”

For the first time, the updated ELCP is available both directly through the CPT and RFM as an authorized seller, giving colleges, universities and faculty more ways to bring the program into their courses.

“Our partnership with Red Flag Mania will undoubtedly allow us to reach more students and provide them with an even more engaging and relevant learning experience,” said CPT President Sedrik Newbern. “We look forward to sharing the enhanced program with colleges and universities nationwide and helping prepare the next generation of ethical leaders.”
