CPT Announces New Board of Directors Appointments

The NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) has added new appointments to its Board of Directors for 2026. New appointments include:
Secretary, Delbert Madison of Montgomery, Alabama – Madison, who has served on the CPT Board of Directors since 2023, will now serve as secretary. Madison is the senior vice president and cash management officer at ServisFirst Bank. He is integrated with community involvement, serving as Delbert B. Madison II Foundation president and CEO, Alabama State University Board of Trustees president, Baptist Hospital Foundation chair, YMCA Capital Campaign chair, United Way Campaign co-chair, Goodwill Industries board member, American Red Cross board member, and more. Madison has received awards for his community involvement, such as YMCA Man of the Year (Britton Branch 2022) and Philanthropist of the Year (2021).
Tammy Velasquez, J.D., of Port St. Joe, Florida – Velasquez is the director, state legislative & regulatory affairs, at the Office of Public Policy at EY. She represents the firm at The Accountants Coalition (TAC), which focuses on managing state public policy issues on behalf of the profession and the global firms. Velasquez brings almost 30 years of federal, state and local public policy experience to the board and her role and has worked closely with these authorities and private sector representatives to formulate strategic policy initiatives. Velasquez is involved in several state and local policy initiatives, including serving as a board member of the American Tort Reform Association (ATRA) and as a member of the Uniform Accountancy Act Committee for the AICPA. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from McNeese State University and a Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University.
