Instructor’s Guide to the Ethical Leadership Certification Program (ELCP)

Are you an educator who is interested in providing ethical leadership training opportunities to your students? The Ethical Leadership Certification Program (ELCP) is an online tool that helps college students identify ethical issues, learn how to respond to ethical dilemmas and enhance their ethical decision-making abilities. This program also helps students build their resumes and communicate values to future employers. The certification program is comprised of six modules and a final exam, which cover the following topics:

  • Module 1: Overview of Ethical Leadership
  • Module 2: Ethical Decision Making
  • Module 3: Organizational Support of Ethical Leadership
  • Module 4: Role of Leadership in Managing and Preventing Conflicts and Ethical Risks
  • Module 5: Role of Communication in Ethical Leadership
  • Module 6: The Ethics Dash

To get started, instructors must complete a group enrollment form when they are ready to register a class. Following registration, instructors are advised to send the following enrollment instructions along with the ELCP class link to their students via email and post to  available class boards so that students can easily pay for the program and enroll correctly in the course:

  • STUDENTS ARE URGED NOT TO RUSH THROUGH THE ENROLLMENT PROCESS. When the stop sign image appears on screen along with a button that reads ‘click here to be grouped with your class,’ please stop. Upon successful payment, students must click the button that reads ‘step 2 of 3, to be grouped with their class.’ Failure to follow instructions will lead to improper class grouping and delayed grades.

It is important that instructors also create an account to access the reporting hub. Instructors will receive an invite message that asks them to click ‘ACCEPT INVITE’ to access their virtual class.

Pricing for the ELCP is as follows:

  • Invoice school in full $49.99
  • Invoice school in half $24.99
  • Student self-pay $49.99

Refund policy: Online course purchases are final and no-=refundable, except for duplicate payments made in error. Duplicate payments made in error may be refundable if reported to CPT within 30 days.
