Things are busy at the StudentCPT! Here are few updates on current events and activities:
Ethics in Action Video Competition
The 2026 Ethics in Action Video Competition deadline is almost here! Students have until March 27, 2026, to submit their video entries for the chance to win up to $1,000 in prizes.
Through 2026 Ethics in Action Video Competition (hosted annually), students will have an opportunity to address ethical dilemmas that occur every day through creative storytelling. Winners will be chosen by a panel of expert judges comprised of ethical leaders and subject matter experts. The judges will review all video entries and select winners based on originality, clarity, relevance and critical thinking. Sample video topics include but are not limited to conflicts of interest, misguided loyalty, ethical diversity, or accountability and transparency.
Viewers’ Choice winners will be determined by the number of votes each video receives.
Category 1: Short Film (1-3 Minutes) and Category 2: Commercials (30-59 Seconds)
Video Submission Deadline: March 27, 2026
Judges’ Choice Voting Period: March 30 – April 5, 2026
Viewers’ Choice Voting Period: April 13 – 17, 2026

2026 StudentCPT Leadership Conference
The 2026 StudentCPT Leadership Conference (SLC) will be held in Park City, Utah, June 22-24. The NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) is now accepting nominations for individuals to represent their StudentCPT chapter or school – students attending the conference will experience two days of leadership development and chapter training that will enhance their ethical decision-making abilities and strategic networking skills.
Selected students from each chapter or school will receive a full scholarship to attend the conference. The scholarship covers:
- Round-trip air travel
- Hotel accommodations
- Shuttle transportation from the Airport to the hotel (and back)
- Meals throughout the conference
- Conference materials and swag

Beta Alpha Psi Mid-Year Meetings
Student Programs Manager Jasmine Gaetano and CPT Operations Manager Alyssa Gallas attended the 2026 Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) Mid-Year Meeting in Cincinnati, Ohio, from March 6-7, and are scheduled to attend the San Jose, California, meeting from March 27-28!
The CPT attends the Mid-Year Meetings to educate attendees on the resources and programming available and to speak on ethics in today’s workplace. This year, Gallas spoke on the ethical uses of technology in accounting.
