Q1 Data Check-In

Ethics Matters

Q1 2026

NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) programming has seen a significant boost over the past 12 months. The Student Center for the Public Trust (StudentCPT) Tiers program, launched at the start of FY 25, has shown promising growth in its second year. The program aimed to move away from only recognizing collegiate involvement at the Student Chapter level and sought to include and measure the other ways that StudentCPT is active on college campuses. Pioneer Tiers use one CPT program, Champion Tiers utilize two, and Ambassador Tiers use at least one major program while also having a CPT Chapter.  At the end of FY25, the total number of schools that were on the Tier list was 110. Halfway through FY26, the Tier count already stands at 101.

    Q2 comparisons

Overall, CPT programming remains steady. Enrollment at the end of Q2 into the Ethical Leadership Training, an online training course for professionals, is already above total enrollment for FY25. The CPT Speaker Series, also started at the beginning of FY 25, has been a great addition to the world of CPT programing. In FY25, the CPT gave 19 student presentations and now, halfway through FY26, the CPT has already given 19 presentations with more on the horizon.

      2025 vs 2026 Chart

The Tiers Program allowed the CPT to offer benefits to and measure engagement of campuses that did not have an official chapter on campus.  Allowing students from member organizations at any tier level to attend the StudentCPT Leadership Conference has boosted the number of chapters the CPT has established on college campuses in the last three years.  The CPT currently has 61 student chapters, up six chapters from 55- a number that stayed stagnant for a few years.

        Chapter Growth

The StudentCPT Tiers Program has been a successful experiment in meeting schools where they are at.  Schools that only have time for one program are recognized for that time commitment and supported as a partner.  This support encourages the use of more programs, which over time has resulted in the goal of more student chapters.
