Fall Happenings at the CPT

Ethics Matters

Q4 2025

The NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) staff were on the go this fall! Whether presenting on campus to classrooms full of young ethical leaders or attending conferences and other engagements to encourage ethical leadership, the CPT was busy making change.

-Operations Manager Alyssa Gallas spoke to a class at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, about ethical leadership and let students know how the CPT can support them professionally.

-Student Programs Manager Jasmine Gaetano took a trip to the Southwest Tennessee Community College Accounting Careers Expo in Memphis, TN, where she touched base with their StudentCPT chapter and reminded them of the great resources available through the CPT.

-The CPT proudly partnered with Baruch College Zicklin School of Business to co-host the 20th Annual Ensuring Integrity Audit Conference at Baruch’s Midtown Manhattan, NY, campus. Alyssa Gallas represented the CPT at the conference and enjoyed networking with students and professionals in attendance.

-CPT President Sedrik Newbern hosted ethics training sessions at the Deloitte Technical Update in both Des Moines, IA, and Omaha, NE.

The CPT looks forward to meeting more ethical leaders and providing more young professionals with the tools they need to lead in 2026!
