The NASBA Center for the Public Trust 2025 Annual Fundraiser

This year marks two decades of Being a Difference for the NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT). Founded by NASBA President and CEO Emeritus David A. Costello, the CPT emerged as a beacon of good news in response to the financial scandals of the early 2000s.

Thanks to Costello’s visionary leadership, the partnership of fellow founding members Milton Brown and Larry Bridgesmith, and the dedication of a small yet mighty staff, the CPT continues to positively impact students, professionals, state boards, and the academic community alike through ethics education and leadership development.

To commemorate 20 years of sustainable, ethical leadership, the CPT invites you to participate in our 2025 Annual Fundraiser: “The Chicago Outfit – 20 Years of Being a Difference.” Proceeds will support the development, empowerment, and advancement of ethical leaders through a variety of impactful programs, including the annual StudentCPT Leadership Conference (SLC).

The fundraiser will take place on Monday, October 27, 2025, alongside NASBA’s 118th Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL, from 4:45–5:45 p.m. CT. Annual Meeting attendees are encouraged to join us for an evening of good music, great drinks, and the best company — all in celebration of a worthy cause.

Your generous donation will act as your entry ticket to the event. Those who cannot attend in person but wish to participate in the CPT Raffle will receive a 20th Anniversary CPT Commemorative Coin as a token of appreciation for their donation.
