Q3 2025

NASBA and NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) staff attended both the 2025 American Accounting Association (AAA) Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL, and the 2025 Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) Annual Meeting in San Antonio, TX, in August.

The AAA Annual Meeting was held from August 3-5, where NASBA and the CPT were conference exhibitors. Staff provided information on accounting education resources that could benefit attendees in their academic communities and raffled off a copy of The NASBA Report: Candidate Performance on the CPA Exam – 2024 Edition (valued at $300). Additionally, CPT President Sedrik Newbern moderated a panel discussion titled Beyond the Degree: The Real Value of Certifications for Business Students during the meeting. The panel examined the role of certifications in business education and career readiness.

Staff also represented the CPT as an exhibitor at the BAP Annual Meeting from August 14-16. Here they connected with students from BAP chapters across the nation to educate them on the many resources the CPT has to offer to help strengthen their success, both academically and professionally.

NASBA and the CPT are proud to serve as exhibitors and meeting sponsors for both organizations and will continue providing resources that support and encourage professionals and students.
