StudentCPT Chapter Spotlight

Marshall University StudentCPT Chapter is this month’s StudentCPT spotlight feature. As one of the strongest StudentCPT chapters, the chapter has successfully achieved Golden Star status every year from 2018 until the inception of CPT Tiers in fall of 2024. Chapter Secretary Cyrah Moore submitted the chapter’s Community Service Activity Report for May of the 2024-2025 school year, at the conclusion of the spring semester.
Marshall University StudentCPT recently hosted a community service event where members were challenged to raise money within the local community. The funds raised allowed the chapter to host a free book giveaway at the Cabell County Public Library on May 5, 2025, where children of all ages could receive free books on various topics. The Marshall University Lewis College of Business, Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society and Read Loud served as co-sponsors of the event. The book giveaway resulted in a great turnout and the chapter members enjoyed supporting and connecting with their community.
