The NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) once again partnered with Baruch College Zicklin School of Business to co-host the 19th Annual Ensuring Integrity Audit Conference. More than 165 professionals attended the conference held on December 3, 2024, on Baruch’s Midtown Manhattan (NY) campus.
The Ensuring Integrity Conference is a one-day conference where topics related to the auditing industry are chosen and moderated by a panel of exceptional leaders in their respective professions. CPT President Sedrik Newbern offered welcoming remarks along with the Willem Kooyker Dean of the Zicklin Business for Baruch College Bruce Weber. The conference included panel discussions on regulations updates, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), enforcement and litigation, digital assets, as well as artificial intelligence (AI). Additionally, there was a discussion with Wall Street Journal reporter Jonathan Weil and a fireside chat with Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Chair and Former Special Assistant and Associate Counsel to President Barack Obama, Erica Williams. Attendees were eligible to earn up to eight hours of continuing professional education (CPE).
The CPT’s partnership with Baruch College continues to grow and demonstrate the necessary commitment to ethical behavior needed to retain the public’s trust. If you are interested in attending the 2025 Ensuring Integrity Conference, please email [email protected] for more information.
