The holiday season can be stressful for a number of reasons. From travel to gift giving, most people are running around, trying to keep things organized. For Danielle Lettering, things took an unexpected turn this November.

Lettering posted a video to social media, explaining that her car sustained a horrible fire and could not be repaired. However, only one item was left unscathed – her Stanley cup, which still had ice in it. The post garnered attention from over 80 million viewers and Stanley’s president, Terence Reilly. Reilly responded in a video saying, “w I’ve seen a lot of comments that we should send you some Stanleys. Well, we are gonna send you some Stanleys. But there’s one more thing. We’ve never done this before and we’ll probably never do it again, but we’d love to replace your vehicle.”

In a recent USA Today article, Lettering said, “I’m so grateful to Stanley for doing this and I feel blessed beyond belief. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I know everybody says that, but it hasn’t.”

The CPT loves to hear how companies show gratitude and appreciation for their consumers. If you have a similar story, we’d love to hear from you!
