12 Steps to Making Your StudentCPT Meeting Great

Ethics Matters

Q4 2023

  1. Thank your guests with a treat, lunch or dinner option.
  2. Select guest speakers who are community leaders and have them touch on new ideas and real time ethical dilemmas in their presentations.

  4. Utilize interactive case studies with teams and a panel of judges.
  5. Play movies or shows that exemplify ethical dilemmas and ethical leadership. For example, you can select episodes of The Office and look for workplace dilemmas to discuss. 
  6. Plan community service activities around campus and your community.
  7. Partner with an existing organization on campus to boost engagement.
  8. Host hybrid meetings so more people can join in.
  9. Elect dedicated StudentCPT officers.
  10. Involve your chapter advisor and campus faculty to spread the word about ethical leadership.
  11. Participate in StudentCPT ethics competitions (Ethics in Action Video Competition, Being a Difference Awards, Ethical Leadership Certification Program, StudentCPT Leadership Conference)
  12. Submit activity reports after every meeting.
