Dr. Linda Biek serves as head of strategic content at the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), where she leads the development of strategic content supporting global advocacy, governance and stakeholder engagement initiatives. Previously, Biek served as director at the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA), and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), as well as head of investigations and compliance at Hong Kong’s Accounting and Financial Reporting Council (AFRC). Earlier in her career, Biek represented NASBA at both national and international levels to promote effective regulation of the accounting profession. She also served as executive director of the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy and began her career in KPMG’s audit department. Biek is a CPA licensed in both Tennessee and Hong Kong and brings more than 25 years of experience in accounting, auditing, regulation and compliance. She has also served on various non-profit boards and committees throughout her career.
