Jeremy Davenport

Jeremy DavenportJeremy Davenport, CPA, serves NASBA as the Manager of Compliance and Supporting Services Accounting, as well as the Controller for the NASBA Center for the Public Trust. In these roles Davenport takes a hands-on approach to financial planning and reporting.

Davenport first joined NASBA in 2013 as the Financial Reporting Manager. His responsibilities included preparation of financial reports for executive and operational management, providing analysis of financial data, support in compiling the annual budget for NASBA and facilitating the month-end close process for the finance department.

Prior to joining NASBA, Davenport served as an Audit Senior for Hazlett, Lewis & Bieter PLLC, a public accounting firm in Chattanooga, TN.  His diverse portfolio of clients included industries such as banking, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, service and not-for-profit organizations.  Davenport began his career in finance as an auditor at the big 4 firm of Ernst & Young.

Davenport earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society Certified Public Accountants.

Davenport is a black belt in Taekwondo and an dedicated father to 5 beautiful children. He also enjoys music as a former member of the University of Tennessee Pride of the Southland Marching Band.
