Janet Buchanan

Affectionately known, as “Dr. J,” Janet’s passion and capacity for creating cultures, which motivate, inspire and provide meaning and purposeful leadership within the workplace, is on par with the other Dr. J.’s basketball savvy. Janet has more than twenty years of executive management experience in the health care industry and holds a long list of professional certifications: Accountability Experience Facilitator, Birkman Method Consultant, Ethics Association, Grants Specialist, Fundraising Executive.

Adept at executive development and training, she specializes in integrity-driven, results-oriented business operations and processes, development of leadership, management, fundraising, programs/services and evaluation. Busy in both her professional and private life Janet is involved with civic organizations serving battered persons, HIV/AIDS, safe schools, housing and homelessness, rural health, literacy and economic development.

With an MBA from the University of Dallas and her Doctorate in Ministry from the Graduate Theological Foundation in South Bend, Indiana, it is her life lessons that have fueled her passion for contributing to the growth and development of the individual, the team and the organization.

When not traveling for work and pleasure, Janet resides in Fairfield, Pennsylvania where home is a rural country sanctuary. Her two boys Bernard and Henry help keep track of the cat man, Orange whose interest in the local bird population is far from honorable.
