NASBA CPT Annual 2024 Recap

CPT Annual Meeting

The NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) hosted an Ethics Workshop and its annual fundraiser in conjunction with NASBA’s 117th Annual Meeting held October 27-30 at Signia by Hilton Orlando in Orlando, FL.

The CPT was proud to feature Chuck Gallagher as this year’s Ethics Workshop speaker. Gallagher’s presentation, Every Choice Has a Consequence, was a thought-provoking and meaningful exploration of the value of doing the right thing.

The theme for the fundraiser this year was Ethics Feud: The Battle for Ethical Leaders.  The CPT was honored to have CPT Board of Directors members Barry Berkowitz, Donald Burkett, David Costello and W. Michael Fritz as well as NASBA Leaders John Johnson, Tom Kenny, Lisa Dampf and Kent Absec participate in the gameshow feud. The event was hosted by CPT President and NASBA Chief Ethics Officer Sedrik Newbern. Questions for the feud were generated from a survey provided to NASBA Staff.

The event was a smashing success, raising nearly $50,000 over the course of the campaign for CPT programming.

The CPT would like to express gratitude to all who attended and contributed to the event’s success. The CPT could not continue to do the work of developing, empowering and promoting ethical leaders without the steadfast belief and generous donations of our supporters. Because of you, the CPT will be able to expand its efforts by reaching more professionals and students across more organizations and campuses than before.

Thank you for your continued support!
