The NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) hopes to see you at the 2026 CPT Golf Classic on May 18, 2026, at The Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, TN. Proceeds from this year’s event will go to support new CPT programming. This new program aims to ease the transition of young people as they leave the university setting and adjust to a new career. Thanks to the generous support of donors, the CPT has impacted tens of thousands of students across more than 300 colleges throughout the nation. New programming allows the CPT to continue to grow alongside our collegians in our mission of developing, empowering, and promoting ethical leaders.

The effects of new technology, lasting impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, and societal changes have left Gen-Z at a disadvantage when it comes to transitioning into their careers. 64% of young people fear layoffs within the next year and 87% feel unprepared for work in the modern workplace. Subsequently, six in 10 employers admit to already having fired a Gen-Z, sometimes only months after hiring them. One in six say they would avoid hiring a recent college graduate in the future.

The CPT hopes to make an impact in this space for young professionals through mentorship, skill building webinar series, Q&A sessions with professionals and more. With your support for new programming at the ground level, the CPT can fulfill its mission to promote ethical leaders and make them a success, not a statistic.
