NASHVILLE, TENN., (October 13, 2016) — The NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) was recently selected as a finalist for the Center for Nonprofit Management’s Salute to Excellence awards program. The CPT is competing in the Diversified Trust: New Generations award category. The Salute to Excellence awards are presented by the Center for Nonprofit Management as an opportunity for nonprofit staff, board members, CEOs and community partners to celebrate the accomplishments of nonprofit excellence in the past year.
The Diversified Trust: New Generations award is presented to an organization that encourages the effective utilization of social media and other focused marketing techniques to reach the next generation. The CPT is being considered for this award after experiencing significant growth in our social media campaigns and Ethics in Action Video competition, which are used as student outreach platforms to better connect with the next generation of leaders.
On behalf of the CPT team, we are honored to be finalists representing such a prestigious award. Other nominees in the category include: Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee Inc. and the Renewal House, Inc. The winner of this category will receive $5,000. The two remaining finalists in this category will each receive $1,000.
Winners will be announced on October 18, 2016, at the Salute to Excellence Celebration, which is the largest nonprofit awards ceremony in the country.
