The CPT Faces an Ethical Dilemma: Part 1 of 2

Bookmark and Share

The NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) recently hosted a business ethics video competition for college students. Grand prize winners were selected by a panel of judges, while viewer’s choice award winners were determined by the team that generated the highest number of votes from the public.

During the contest, the CPT staff was notified about several video marketing strategies being used, and was asked to evaluate the appropriateness of these methods.

Remember, when navigating potential ethical dilemmas, it is important to follow a fair and objective process. This helps improve decision quality and reduce the potential for unethical decisions. This same methodology aided the CPT staff in its evaluation of marketing tactics used throughout the video competition.

After watching the video, share your thoughts below. Check back this Thursday, to watch part two of this video, and see how the CPT staff responded.
